Kōwhai are small woody legume trees within the genus Sophora, in the family Fabaceae, that are native to New Zealand. There are eight species, with Sophora microphylla and Sophora tetraptera being large trees. Their natural habitat is beside streams and on the edges of forest, in lowland or mountain open areas. Ordering Fabric:
Fabric can be ordered as a Fat Quarter or by a custom meterage.
A Fat Quarter is approximately 50 cm by 55 cm.
To order a custom meterage, select 'Custom Meterage' and then enter the number of centimetres in the quantity box. For example, to order 1/2 metre, enter 50. To order 2 3/4 metres, enter 275.
Note: There is a minimum order of 25 centimetres for the custom meterage.
