26 small designs are stitched together to create a unique and exciting way to display our native flora. The small compact designs are easily popped in your bag to work on in a free moment.
26 individual designs may sound a lot to stitch initially but it is easier than it looks.
- 6 octagonal patterns approximately 30 stitches square
- 8 hexagonal patterns approximately 25 stitches square
- 12 square patterns 18 stitches square
The ball is constructed in two halves with a 50cm ( 20”) circumference and then sewn together.
Included are details on how to stitch each design, as well as easy to follow diagrams and photographs and a simple explanation on how the ball is constructed.
With the variations of fabric, threads and designs available today the most difficult part is stopping at making only one ball.
